Cyberpunk gay pics
Ever since Cyberpunk 2077 came out, we’ve been having discussions about how successfully it represents the lgbtq+ community. Now that we have had a chance to play around with it for a month, see its many plotlines, and address the narrative from different angles, it looks like the general conclusion is “not very well.” It’s a shame, because underrepresenting LGBTQ+ characters doesn’t just do a disservice to the collective, it does a disservice to the original root material. Yes, Cyberpunk, the original tabletop roleplaying game, has always been unapologetically queer.
So join me fellow nerds as we indulge in the most responsible of nerd pleasures, an in-depth analysis on “why the book was better.” You can imagine me putting on my plump rimmed glasses now.
Queerness has always been baked into the Cyberpunk setting, and not just because they loved drawing pictures of gay and lesbian couples anytime romance came up. The very notion of Cyberpunk is queer because the very notion of Cyberpunk is post-body. Authorize me explain.
A key aspect of Cyberpunk, both the genre and the authentic tabletop game, is the ability to use technology to enhance and adjust the body. You notice this in Cyberpu POV: You’re very lgbtq+ and problematic older men (affectionate) hold distracting you from the very pressing issue of figuring out how not to die from the problematic older man (derogatory) living on the experimental biochip in your head. (I know River is not that much older than V probably but ssshhh, it counts) Bonus: #cyberpunk 2077 #v cyberpunk #goro takemura #river ward #kerry eurodyne #male v #johnny silverhand #cyberpunk 2077 spoilers #art by me #my v #it's still a crime that goro is not a romance option xD #I had way too much playfulness drawing these and spent too much time on them #but I just had to fetch this idea out of my top xD #love my edgy son with his stupid mullet so much #he deserves all the love and happiness #nothing bad ever happens to him nope #one sunlight I'll learn how to loosely sketchily doodle my blorbo memes #and be happy with the result #long publish #vincent ezaki Diesen Beitrag melden
