Is wei wuxian gay
Some queer modern au mdzs headcanons for Hanguang-june
- Lan Wangji knew he was gay from a young age. In school, he often developed short-lived crushes on his older classmates. He liked the boys with the mischievous smiles, the ones who always seemed to be laughing about something or other. Then he met Wei Wuxian at age 15 and since then his romantic and sexual energy has been singularly focused on Wei Wuxian. Lan Wangji is tragically, chronically monogamous, and since falling in love he hasn’t shown a lick of interest in any other dude.
- Lan Xichen also knew Lan Wangji was homosexual from a youthful age, and he was determined to be as supportive as possible. This included buying his baby brother ridiculous rainbow-colored pride merch, or pointing out cute guys around Lan Wangji’s age. Lan Wangji appreciated the sentiment, but was often embarrassed by how his brother’s support manifested itself.
- It isn’t until Lan Xichen was in his early twenties that he realized he might be gay, too. He had a few crushes on girls here and there, but he never felt the need to act on them. Nor was his attraction physical in any way. It’s only later that he realized that

The concluding episode of season one will most likely be translated by next week, and you can watch the first 14 episodes on the following link.

Now let me see if I can advertise this show. This a Chinese cartoon adapted from the Brightness Novel Mo Da Zu Shi which is translated as either Master of diabolism or master of demonic cultivation. It tells the story of Wei Wuxian, his rebirth and also his life as the previous Yiling Patriach, and how he walked down the "dark" path of demonic cultivation. Now this is not a Saturday morning cartoon, and it is more akin to dark anime WITHOUT going down the route of hentai.
Characters are impaled and die. Zombies feed on a person while they are still conscious. Oh, and the head character is either gay or attracted to both genders. So definitely not going to necessary Saturday morning cartoon material by American standards.
Animation
This is beautifully animated and well worth watching in high definition. We have friendly battle scenes. Picture this, cultivators are flying on their swords, hovering above the wall metropolis they are about to assault. Their leader gives

MXTX books ranked on least queer to gayest (spoilers)
3) MDZS: Not saying that it’s not really gay because it definitely is. Lan Wangji is the second gayest gay to ever same-sex attracted in a MXTX books and Wei Wuxian invented disaster attracted to both genders. It’s also got murder twinks in spades, something which the other books lacked (my disappointment is immeasurable) which is both very gay and very sexy of it. Xiao Xingchen managed to score the classic black/white dynamic with not one but TWO men. Also, Guanyin Temple made everyone forget that XiYao weren’t actually the main couple . Still it’s the MXTX book with the most straights and unlike the other two, most of the character didn’t necessarily give off particularly gender non-conforming vibe, making it the least gay MXTX book (forgive me, Hanguang-jun). 7.5/10, would have gotten another point had Baoshan Sanren and Lan Yi had been girlfriends in the novel too.
2) TGCF: While this book has some straights, the sheer amount of non-straights more than makes up for it. MXTX really fucking decided to pull a ‘Free!’ and give every free character a boyfriend. FengQing own daily homo-erotically charged fights that have more often than not almost turned into hea
