Seattle’s 50th annual Pride Month celebration will close out with the annual Seattle Pride March on Sunday, June 30 in Westlake Park along 4th Avenue. Come spot Washington's largest pride and celebrate the 250+ local and national community groups, nonprofits, and companies.

50 Years of Pride: 1974 - 2024

2024 marks the 50-year anniversary since 200+ LGBTQIA+ people gathered publicly in Seattle as an act of collective resistance. Their purpose was clear: to expel shame and to endure in defiance of those who wished to keep us hidden and disempowered. They were no longer willing to wait, no longer willing to camouflage , no longer willing to be denied the right to exist.

About this Event

Amara is excited to celebrate our LGBTQIA+ family by marching in this year’s Seattle Pride March and we invite you to join us in support of our astounding queer staff and collective. The parade starts at 4th & Pike and ends at 2nd Ave & Denny Way.

All celebration contingent members are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (as defined by CDC guidelines), or to have a negative PCR test taken within 48 hours. 

  • Proof of vaccination or negative PCR assess must be present with each participant; this can be in the develop of a picture of verification, vaccine card, cell app., etc. 
  • Parade participants under the age of five (5) years old are required to have a negative PCR test within 48 hours. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: It is required that your proof of vaccination or negative PCR COVID-19 quiz be kept on your person.
