To guarantee the best result and quality of our plants and bulbs, we dispatch all our orders at the right planting period. We monitor harvests in The Netherlands and weather conditions across Europe and start shipping our orders according to the following schedule:

  • Summer Flowering Bulbs (dahlias, gladioli, begonias, etc.) - from 1 March until 1 June.
  • Spring Flowering Bulbs (tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, etc.) - from 23 September until 1 December.
  • Seeds and Garden Tools – all year round
  • Roses, Perennials (except peonies), Bushes and other plants in pots - from 1 March until 1 June.

    Narcissus Gay Tabor

    Double Narcissi
    Resembling Camellias and tiny Peonies, flamboyant Double Narcissi yield one or more flowers per stem. Each flower has multiple layers of petals or crowns, or both. With many of these showy varieties boasting a sweet fragrance, Double Narcissi are excellent for both the garden and cut flower arrangements. You may want to offer these flamboyant gems a bit of protection from the wind. After it rains, the abundant flower surface can weigh the flowers down a bit. They are much loved for the truth that deer and rodents do not like to eat them!

    All Narcissi tolerate a wide range of sunlight from complete sun to semi-shade. Varieties with pink cups should be grown in areas of filtered sunlight. Narcissi prefer well-draining soil, loathe to get wet feet and love to be fed with a 4-10-6 or 5-10-5 granular natural flower bulb fertilizer three times a year. Let the foliage to thrive and die back naturally without braiding or premature removal. DNII bulb size: 14/16 cm unless otherwise noted. Bloom time in horticultural zone 5: April/May. Plant 6" to 8" deep and 6" apart. Horticultural zones 3-8. Height: 14" to 16", depending upon variety.
