Zipolite is one of the highlights for a same-sex attracted or nudist visitor to Mexico. It has Mexico's only genuine nude beach and the whole town is very gay approachable. The beautiful approximately 2 km long beach is fronted by a collection of beachside restaurants and hotels. Nudity is entirely accepted and normal on the entire beach as are displays of affection between same-sex couples.

The middle sections of the beach though are primarily straight and primarily clothed. The beach faces almost directly south so you can catch both beautiful sunrises and sunsets. At the west end of the beach is El Alquimista hotel and restaurant and Shambala. El Alquimista's beach restaurant is a popular queer gathering spot and the rocks and beach in front are as well. This is the most popular and the most cruisy spot for homosexual men (although it is

Best Gay Bars & Clubs in Oaxaca

Oaxaca comes alive at night with sexy bars and bartenders everywhere! For our first gay exclude, we decided to hit up Navy 69 in Centro. Actually, that’s not true. After our Mezcal tasting on our first packed day here, we were feeling great and decided to walk a mile and half outside of Centro to La Costa, the best and only gay male strip club in Oaxaca.

It was a Sunday night and there was a swift pat down and no cover. We were escorted to a cocktail table and ordered a bucket of beers. As far as fellow patrons, there was actually a good mix of people, mostly homosexual, some with girlfriends, and also a straight couple or two. In terms of the amusement itself, we loved that the dancers hit the stage in full costume (see featured image). It reminded us of back in the day at Swinging Richards in Atlanta, which is perhaps the finest male strip club in the US. After the complete monty at La Costa and unlike any strip club we’ve ever experienced, a drag dancer comes out next for a number followed by fellow patrons dancing on the stage. When the next dancer was ready, everyone was ushered off the stage which became increasingly more difficult as the night
