“Be super careful in Manila boys…” was the blunt warning from our Filipino friends in London before we headed over, “…it's crowded, polluted, too much traffic and lots of thieves everywhere!”

But in all truthfulness, Manila is no distinct from any other enormous city we've been in.

Our first steps on the streets of Malate were tentative – taking our friends' words to heart, we ensured to depart all valuables in our hotel, avoided unlit streets, and stuck to taxis to get us around. But the paranoia that we'd built up was quickly broken down. Sticking to basic common meaning, it's fine in Manila.

We ended up enjoying the Filipino capital. It has a pretty exciting queer scene with a super friendly LGBTQ community that loves connecting with foreigners. Filipinos are generally the most hospitable people we've ever met, which makes it so easy to make local friends here quickly. This was our favorite thing about Manila!

There really ain't much to say about the place, nice food, cold drinks, and chill atmosphere. Place is pleasant, cool, and vivid, definitely the place you'd want to chill in when you're tired after work or just want to hold a few drinks. Been drinking here for the past 7 years, never had any problems or any terrible experiences. They've got your usual selection of beer staples with san miguel products plus a few craft beers from Pinatubo and Boondocks. They also have cocktails that can be served either in a glass or a pitcher na hindi tinipid, you can even watch them actually make it right at the bar. Food is definitely better than most other usual places you'd juice in. Common drinking pulutan like fries and onion rings are better than you'd expect but if you're gonna eat might as well just leave and eat dinner too cause all of the things in their menu are definitely a must try especially if you acquire there on the right day when they have either baboy damo or usa. You'd wish to check their social media accounts too cause they frequently have some sort of event or meets happening all the day in collaboration with different groups or The Hub just
